SITZMARKE HISTORY

Dec 1964: The first SCSC newsletter is published.
Jun 1968: The name Sitzmarke is used for the SCSC newsletter for the first time.
Apr 1972: Sitzmarke is printed on glossy paper for the first time.
May 20, 1973: 1972-73 Sitzmarke wins Best Club Publication in the Rocky Mountain Division of the U.S. Ski Association.

Jul 1973: 1972-73 Sitzmarke wins Outstanding Ski Club Publication in the United States from the U.S. Ski Association.
1975: SCSC enters the 1973-74 Sitzmarke in the United States Ski Association contest for Outstanding Club Publication.

1975: SCSC enters the 1974-75 Sitzmarke in the United States Ski Association contest for Outstanding Club Publication.

1979: SCSC enters the 1978-79 Sitzmarke in the United States Ski Association contest for Outstanding Club Publication.

Jan 1986: SCSC enters the 1984-86 Sitzmarke in the United States Recreational Ski Association contest for Outstanding Club Publication.

Sep 2009: SCSC goes to e-Sitzmarkes, with full Sitzmarkes emailed every month. Physical copies are mailed in Aug, Oct, Feb & May only. Other months a color postcard is mailed. 
Dec 2011: Sitzmarke is emailed as a PDF file to members, mailing to members is still available.
Jun 2013: Sitzmarke becomes digital only with new format, no copies are mailed to members.
Oct 2013: Last club financials are published in Sitzmarke.
Jul 2014: July issue discontinued.
